The architect that inspired my physical model was Kengo Kuma. I mentioned other architects and designers in my project but it all started with my love for Kuma's buildings and philosophy.
I have combined pertinent information about Kuma and his work philosophy and characteristics. There's also the building that inspired and touched me the most.
Alongside Kuma's work, this project was also based on the Biophilia theory.
Proposal
For my project, I will be making a physical model of a "hangout' spot for students to relax and study in. It is designed to be integrated indoors (in schools) to make students feel as if they were in a jungle or beach resort. I will also be making paintings to represent how I've felt during my experience in college throughout these past years. These two works would be combined in a zine.
